Have you checked the health of the drive? I would recommend checking its S.M.A.R.T. status. If you are not sure how to read it feel free to post it here.

Is the BIOS, the OS and all the drivers updated? How is the drive formatted? Could you gives us a screenshot of the Disk Management for both the Windows 7 and the Windows 10 systems and the way the drive appears there?

1. I have run the “Hardware and Devices” Troubleshooter. If I run it with the external hard drive connected, It goes into a loop and never ends.

I have also run the Device Manager and tried to update the drivers – It says they are all up to date

I have also uninstalled the drivers (Both, the Virtual CDROM Device and the OEM Ext Hard Disk – They install as SCSI Devices) and re-installed them

2. No, there is no error shown, just the File Manager starts to search the drive, but the upper search bar indicator, never ends… and many times file manager freezes until I unplug the drive

The drive work fine in a Windows 7 laptop.

The same problem appears in another laptop of another brand, with windows 10 installed.

The laptop I am working with is brand new: Toshiba Satellite, S55T 15.6' Touchscreen Laptop PC, Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M.

Windows 10 has all updates up to date…

If the drive's health is OK and if it works fine with the Windows 7 system the problems are probably coming from the OS itself. If you can back all data up somewhere else from the drive, reformat it under the new system (full format, write with zeros, etc.), configure it and then restore the data on it and see if the drive functions properly.

I can't do what you say because de OS does not read the drive.

I think the problem is with the drivers Windows 10 loads automatically.. SCSI drivers.

This Iomega external hard drive is not a SCSI hard drive..

until Iomega (which was bought by Lenovo) or Microsoft does not supply new drivers, I am sadly stuck

You could try booting from a thumb drive another OS (like Ubuntu or something like that) and see if it gives you access to your data. This may grant you at least access to the data and allow you to wipe the drive after backing the data up.
