Did you identify by serial number lookup online? Some of those have marginal reference,
and so may be half a year off on the build number specs. Everymac has their ultra lookup
then powerbookmedic.com has their 'serial number lookup' (with a parts page) and others
do a fair job if you can supply the correct identifiers (some without serial # lookup) such
as the downloadable MacTracker.ca database. Each has their place, I use them all.

And use a different card for wireless internet. The use of a PCI or other card to add
wi-fi internet (if you can locate the cards now) may answer two issues; if the card
has an antenna on it. Because the metal case stops wi-fi, you need one either way.
Sorry to not have an exact answer; been too long and no ongoing personal interest in
this pro PPC model. Good parts are harder to locate; esp. those 'dealer installed' extras.
